Like all good things, the Hideaway started out ten years ago as the dream of Frieda and Skip Reichert to serve delicious food at their marina, Diamond Cove Marina, here in Montauk Harbor.

We serve authentic Mexican food (Frieda hails from Chiapas, Mexico) coupled with Skip's delicious house-smoked BBQ, fresh seafood, and killer drinks and over 40 different kinds of tequila.  We use fresh,  local ingredients and sustainably harvested products whenever possible.

The Hideaway has a laid back atmosphere that is perfect for kicking back a couple margaritas while taking in life at a marina.  We offer a casual dining experience with counter service and several outdoor picnic tables in addition to our indoor seating. Sorry, but we do not take reservations.
